Lavender Bath Salt Recipe

Equipment

  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Spoon
  • 1 Airtight container that will hold 2 cups

Materials

  • 1 cup Epsom Salt
  • ½ cup Sea Salt or Himalayan Pink Salt
  • 10-15 drops Lavender Essential Oil
  • 1-2 tbsp Dried Lavender Buds
  • 1/4 cup Baking Soda

Instructions

  • Measure Your Ingredients: Combine 1 cup of Epsom salt and ½ cup of sea salt or Himalayan pink salt in a mixing bowl. Add ¼ cup baking soda.
  • Add Lavender Essential Oil: Add 10–15 drops of lavender essential oil to the salt mixture. Stir well to spread the scent evenly.
  • Dried Lavender Buds: If you want a pretty touch, add 1–2 tablespoons of dried lavender buds. These make your bath salts look and smell amazing.
  • Mix It All Together: Stir everything thoroughly so the oils and salts blend evenly.
  • Store Your Bath Salts: Pour the finished bath salts into a jar with a lid. Store in a cool, dry place to keep them fresh.

Notes

Using your lavender bath salts is super simple. Just add ¼ to ½ cup of the salts to your bathwater as it’s filling up, then stir the water with your hand to help the salts dissolve. Once dissolved, relax, breathe in the soothing lavender scent, and enjoy your peaceful soak!
